The Tropicana Field stadium is home to the professional baseball team, the Tampa Bay Rays. The stadium is located in St. Petersburg, Florida, and has a seating capacity of 25,000. It includes the Hitters Hall of Fame, a Party Deck, cafes, the Grand Slam Alley, Raymond's Art Studio, an interactive playground, and much more. It hosts Major League Baseball as well as basketball, football, hockey, motorsports, and other entertainment events such as concerts.
The Tropicana Field stadium was opened in March 1990s and hosted the first game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Detroit Tigers. The stadium is known to hold major baseball events such as the World Series in 2008. Additionally, the stadium records incredible individual and team performances like the 3000th hit in the Major League by Chris Haney in 1999, or the first no-hitter by Matt Garza in 2010.
